It's not an official GM design just some impressive fan made concept art I ran across on the interweb. Thought I'd post it here to see what some of your reactions are.

I'm really feeling the horizontal headlamp one and if it turns out looking like that I may have to get one to go with my 04. It looks like the yellow motor trend concept art.
Here's the post the pic came from.

:barf: Gross. If this is the direction GM decides to take then there goes that "American BMW" idea they wanted to convey with Pontiac.

+1.
I am not a big fan of the rear end or the front end (the headlights look similar to the CTS with a '73 to '74 GTO hood w/ scoops) of the red car, but I do like the side profile (w/ exception that the hood scoops are too high up where it doesn't flow well with the lines of the body) and the front end of the blue car. The hood scoops on the blue car appear, to me, to enhance the look.

The grey one is much better than the red one. The grey one is not bad at all!
Put a heads-up display in the next Goat instead of a hood tach.

I like the headlights and fog lights in the chin spoiler on the red car, but the hood scoops on the gray car are more modern. The big wheels and fender lips look good too. Nevertheless, more refinement is still necessary.

I dont know why they bother with these concept drawings... It'll never happen. Anyone remember the Charger concept back in the late 90's? Looked like an exotic..

While I agree that if there is a next-gen GTO it prolly won't look anything like these drawings, it's exciting to see some idea's of what one should look like none the less.
If they put that blue grill & scoops on the Monaro, THAT would have been a winner.

Why doesn't GM listen to what we want ........... Are they afraid of selling cars in high volume ........

I like them. I do not like the hood on the red one. The design of the gray hood is better.

A guy at work likes to draw new car designs also. Maybe I should ask him to come up
with a new GTO design too. He'd probably be just as close as these to what the real
one will look like. ...waste of a thread.
i like it, and from the side it looks bad ass.

The gray one doesnt look bad at all. I actually kinda like it. The red one on the other hand is horrible.

If the Camaro/GTO share the same platform, that's pretty much what it's going to look like. It will be a Camaro with Pontiac fascias and emblems. :judge:

I don't seem to recall the Camaro looking like a VE Sedan which it's based on.

The gray rendition is/was very close to what the actual frontend of the next gen GTO looked like.

Big fan of the grey concept drawing as well as the profile pic. The red one reminds me too much of a CTS-V.

+1 on the red cts-v look-a-like.
The gray one is less refined (but has the retro look) and seems more like a fad than a modern day classic.
i would like to see some other ideas/designs from people.

I'm feeling the black one on the far left.

I really like the front end of the black/grey one too. Very mean looking and could be easily adapted from the Camaro front end.
The red one misses by a country mile.
