KDW NT's , Kumho SPT's, etc

Im just wondering, how is the wear on these tires. Yes that is a concern for me. I cant afford $7-8 hundred dollars every year for tires.

I was looking at the Kumho SPT's as well for $50 less.

Any opinions on treadwear for the BFG G sport KDW NT?

I think the SPT's may last longer due to the 320 treadwear rating over the 300 of the BFG. And they are $50 less a tire.

anyone who has either able to comment on them?

Just got the Kuhmo's SPTs....great tire, better grip than the stock tires in dry and wet.

Got some SPT's with my 279's, if you can believe it, both front tires are out-of-round. As soon as Snafu gets back to me with return info, I'm switchin' 'em out for the BFG KDW's locally. WolfDog appears to be right with poor quality control at Kuhmo.

You can't compare treadwear ratings between tire companies, only between tires from one manufacturer..
