I like that look. :)

I'm thinking about doing my stockers just like that. (I use 'em from december to march).

What did they charge you to powder coat them. Thanks.

I had a similar job done on my stock 18's, went with more of a charcoal. Had the lip polished and taped off before the powdercoating to separate the wheel from the tire visually. Loved the results and the cost. Well done.

you did one of the best kinds of mods to your car, actually. gunmetal dark wheels on a lighter colored body reveals you understand good taste. and you kept the 17s. i'm thinking of doing this to mine.

+1. IMO, it would have looked better with a polished lip. but different strokes for different folks.

I don't like it sorry. I saw a BMW X3 with wheels that looked exactly like that except they were covered in brake dust.

i love them. i put gunmetal power coated wheels on my Maxima, for example, and it's Pearl White. the powder coat gunmetal metallic really shines and looks totally killer on the car. good job.

i wish i had a better camera to show you all how they truely look, im pleased because it matches the color of the honeycomb inserts on the front bumper, and it matches the rear valance. maybe i will try to borrow my buddys camera nad post some ones with good quality up haha. stay tuned, i will try to do that today. also, the chrome stockers that dieselracer newly received look so much better on his blue goat then they did on mine.

They look good. I will probably powdercoat mine since I bought the Enkei wheels and my stockers are just in my garage.

DK2F, why isn't your zex nitrous sytem in your sig? I thought you had one with jfo controller? I bought mine around the same time as youand have still not finished hooking it all up yet although it is in the car now and the bottle is at least wired up. oh btw i like your powdercoated wheels. I wonder if someone could sand the scratches outta mine and powdercoat them to hide the rash/scratches?

sorry, shoud've eleborated. what i meant was that IN GENERAL i don't like colored wheels unless they have a polished lip to clean 'em up.

c'mon guys you never heard of the "h" street pier ? rohr aircraft plant there also (or was at one time) we are talking south of san diego and n. of imperial beach. I never saw a pier there but that is what it was called---everyone just skated in the big parking lot there. Anothe big hangout was "fiesta island" and i know you won't doubt me on that one.
