View Full Version : 19" CCW 505A's on

Well after much wait and debate, I finally got my CCW's and put them on this week. The wheels are 19x8.5 and 19x10, wrapped in 245/35/19 and 275/30/19 Toyo T1R's. Absolutely no rubbing! These tires are amazingly grippy-I did a couple dropped clutch starts yesterday with absolutely no wheel spin. The car rides just as well as stock. Opinions please:

Ross, I hate you. :gr_jest: I hope you will be going to Nashville next Saturday to meet with some of us. I'm sure you'll have to clean a ton of drool off of those wheels. :p

Wow! That's freaking wicked looking. With the rear flared like it is you probably could have gone with a much wider rim or maybe go 20's back there. CCW are expensive but well worth the bling factor!

Why are the exhaust outlet openings in that bumper so large and oddly shaped?

That look is :barf:. In a good way.

What are the off sets?

I like the wheels, but the matel ground effects just looks off. the quality of the panels just does not much the quality of the stock stuff. good idea, but the quality just isn't there, in my humble opinion.

Thanks for all the comments guys-

The offset is about +53-55 mm in the rear, not too sure about the front

The exhaust outlets are so big because it's really just a crappy design for exhaust pipes. The openings don't really fit much of anything. Therefore, I had to mod the bottom of them to fit my Borla.

I ordered the CCW 500's in 18" with the same width tires and hope they''ll make it next week. It's been several already. Those look great on your car. Hope mine look as good.

CCW has taken great care to design those wheels to fit as good as factory. The catch is, you can still only run a 275mm wide tire on the rear rims. Search for all of the owners with CCW wheels. Most use Michelin tires. That brand is known to be "wide" for their size. Toyos (like IROSS is using) are known to run "narrow" for their size. Toyos have less of a chance to rub.

BBK=BIG BRAKE KIT

Wow, RMR kit plus those wheels look fantastic. I would add some Wilwood Big brakes 14in rotors to that with Red calipers. That is a great look. If you take some more pictures in different light (sunset or overcast morning) please post them I would like to see them, RMR looks very interesting. Anyway, great work absolutely best looking body kit I have seen for the GTO.

Yea I'd love to get some nice brakes to go with these. I saw where Baer has an eradispeed kit out that just changes the rotors but keeps the stock calibers (14 inch front, 13 inch rear). This is definitely what I will be looking to get.

Nice wheels, but I'm a little biased. I had some rubbing on the inside of the driver's side rear that grooved the sidewall pretty badly (no cords showing, though). Just a word of caution.

I didn't know that Baer finally released those. The last I saw, Tbyrne was still waiting for them.

Yea I checked Tbyrne and saw the same thing-I guess that was just wishful thinking on my part that maybe they just hadn't changed the status in a while :drink:

Couple of things,..how much was the body kit, and where did you get it? I have SP500's and mine rubbed,..BAD! I had to shave my rear fenders, and hammer the inside rear fender wells...and i have 18's! Glad you didn't have those problems tho. I am also running Toyo's . Well looks good!!
