Cold Dead Fingers.
I've said it aleast once so I'll say it again. This country is posed for another civil war, right against left. And the media is mostly to blame.
I pitty the fools who try to come to Texas to take away guns.

Amen to that. It will never happen in Texas......well at least not at my house. :gr_jest:

Devide and conquer, thinking us vs them, left vs right is buying into it.

I've seen that, really goes to show that if you think the gov will never come and try to confiscate your weapons you're living in denial.
I've heard of people having to file Replevin Orders against police departments to try and get their firearms back that they are legally allowed to have returned to them.
Then when they win, the PD will say, "oh look, we transferred the firearms to Officer so-and-so," causing the hapless citizen to have to file another Replevin Order against the officer. When the citizen wins that the officer transfers the firearms back to the PD.
Contempt of court and such comes into play, but it's all designed to make it such a huge pain in the ass that people give up.

While I don't share some of the more extreme conservative views on gun ownership, as a fellow gun-owner, I gotta say I'm VERY angry that Nagin was allowed to do this....
I don't know what I'd do if a police officer came to my house and told me they're just taking my guns for no reason.
I'd probably just tell them I sold off all the rifles privately (no legal record necessary for second-hand sale of long arms in new york).

Can't see the vid (problem on my pc), but my stance. I purchased my "peacemakers" pictured below in Germany while serving as a soldier in the U.S. Army. The day I give them up to a government official will be the day funeral arangements will be made for me and as many of them as I can take with me.

heres something to think about , acouple of yrs ago country in mid east band toy guns and what happened crime went up. so if that happened there guess what might happen if they ban guns here. now if these idiots was smart which they are not , if people knew there gun rights u would not see all these petafiles .

If they show up at my house, they won't find anything. All guns were lost in an unfortunate boating accident. They are at the bottom of a nearby lake....Sorry

If they believe they can come into this house here and take me and my families guns, then me and my family believe we can take thier lives if they try.
If a disaster situation happened in AZ, and they came to take the guns, i'd prolly be the only one home, and although you have to pick your fights, if there was a couple people only at my door, i would tell them to leave the property, if they didnt i would make them leave permanently.
This talk my sound like bafoon talk but im dead serious. When they try to take law abiding citizens firearms they not only are going against our country but they are also breaking the very laws they are supposed to uphold.
When that happens, it's up to citizens to take the law into thier own hands. It happened in the colonial days, it happened in the western days, and it will probably happen again.

A - f'ing - men.
I'm no radical, but I gave up 10 years of my life toting a M-16 and/or a 9MM to protect my right to own them. They will not be taken away from me alive, plain and simple. Sadly enough, if something doesn't change in this country, I believe we are headed down the path you describe.
I live in MO, and plan to get my concealed carry permit this winter. I can't really think of too many conditions where I will carry a weapon, but I'd like to do so legally if I want to...because it is my right to do so.

AWESOME, right on man.
Im planning on getting a Remington 870 Mariner and making a home defense shotgun out of it within the year and possible an AK or AR after. In a few years when i am 21 i will be aiming at getting a CCW permit as well as a 1911 (if i dont aquire one before then from my father) and hopefully a 357 S&W snubby and/or an Automag III (or an Automag in 44AMP like what dirty harry had, lmao)
