So I just check my tires the other day and noticed a real bad tire wear on both my front tires. Last year about this time i took my car to the dealer to have a bunch of things checked and they said all was fine with the alignment and stuff. They were supposed to rotate the tires. Well i think that they never did anything about the tire rotation or alignment that I asked them to check. My front right inside tread is gone...bald, front left rinside tread is bad cords are showing. Both tires have the wear on inside right where the sidewall meets the tread. Has anyone else had this problem...and is there anyway I can have the dealer pay for the new tires since they basically didn't do the work asked of them???? The car has had a slight pull to the right since the day I bought the car, but I can't beleave the tires got this bad.

Oh boy, here we go again....it's STRUT RUB, my friend.
Get under the car (or better yet, take off the wheel) and look for those tell-tale little shiny spots on the underside of the spring carrier that's part of the strut assembly. Betcha donuts to dollars you got rub. :(

Plenty of people had the same problem. Some say its from rub, some say it isn't. When mine had this problem, the tire place said there was no rubbing going on. I say BS cause I can see the shiny spots. Anyhow, I replaced the tires, got an alignment and I haven't seen anything since. The factory alignment is crap and the wear on my tires was attributed to alignment issues. A full inch of the inside of both front tires was shot and there is no way that much of the tire made contact with the strut spring carrier.
