The factory Bridgstones are not very good. They are loud, hard, and don't hook at all. I can drop the clutch at 1500 rpm and keep them lit pretty much as long as I like. Have to let out just to get moving. I want to run something wider and stickier on the rear and explore going a little wider up front. Obviously I will be giving up the ability to rotate, but that is no biggie. For those of you out there who have experimented, what size can I safely go with up front without any rubbing issues? I am currently at stock ride height. And out back, what width and aspect ratio would be good to help me pick up a little bite? Thanks.

I'm currently running on the new Nitto Invo's......245x40x18 all around. Just had the fronts shaved and balanced on-car yesterday so we're rollin' smooth as glass now. Had to replace my front Baer rotors due to warping after 10K miles and that screwed my balance job up. All in all, pretty good tire, especially in the rain which we have plenty of down here. They hook REAL well too........Disount Tire direct has them for $169.
