You'd have to use a universal style that attatches above the door, on the roof kinda. When I bought my Cobra someone had put those on the car....looks horrible in my opinion.

Our window frame design doesn't really lend itself to vent visors

In my experience, there isn't a need. With the window cracked, I get next to no wind in my face in the car. It's another one of those things that continues to impress me about the Monaro/GTO.

i took my goat to weathertech the biggest maker of them. They said they wont work with our window frames.

I, too wish I could get vent visors to work on my GTO. It is so hot where I park and the black interior soaks up the heat.
