just received my new accutire pressure gauge in the mail yesterday. i was dead-set on getting a nice dial-type gauge from meiser or longacre until i discovered how quickly the calibration can be ruined by dropping them or having them banging around the glove box.
did a little research around and found these threads

they indicate that it is incredibly accurate accross its entire range (dial-type gauges are most accurate in the middle of the range), and it might be a little more durable too. comes with a nice case to protect it too (a little smaller than an eyeglasses case). not bad for $30 right?
found it on amazon for $9.99! signed up for the free 2-month amazon prime membership (free shipping, just long enough to last through the holiday shopping season), so didn't pay tax or shipping.

so far it's exactly what it's purported to be. will verify how accurate it is next time i'm at a tire shop or truck stop (probably never haha!), but seems like you really can't go wrong for $10 flat.
