On first thought, someone would definitely say "Holy-Molly-Yellowy" .
Quite frankly because yellow isnt a very favorable color over the others.

But to me, it works like a charm. Has the looks and defines taste(in my own yellow world)

Yeah lots of eye poppin yellow but it works. What region are you located and who makes that rear spoiler?

I live in Dubai, Middle East. If that rings a bell?

The rear spoiler was a custom fiberglass job. Here's a better pic:

Tell us about the roads / speed limits / driving / cops in Dubai !!!!

Lets not get into that. In short its like "fast and the furious".
You've accidents approx. every minute of the hour. Considering its a developing country, ppl tend to drive in flashy cars(veyrons,lambos,ferrari's...the list goes on)

I'm starting to like the rims. I think the rest of the car is over the top for my tastes, but rock on.

I was going to get black rims with polished or brushed lip, but I like how yours turned out. Also what is the rim brand, model, and specs? I like the look of those spokes.

Those are 18" AC Schnitzer rims. They initially came in powder coated black over the sidewalls of the spokes. (you can notice it in the first pic)

Yup those taillight kill the look of your car! tinted black and they will look 100% better.

Black is definitely appealing. but considering the current combo (yellow+violet) on the car, the black doesnt fit in well.

And yes, i do a lot of Photoshop mods before actual implementation. The yellow blends in well, if they were removed you'll have striking red tail-lights. Ewwww.

In the first picture (before) I thought those rims were great. After seeing what you did to them though, I think they are absolutely STUNNING. If I thought my GTO could pull off some rims like that, I would do it in a heartbeat.

Thats violet? Damn, I guess I AM colorblind. Yellow and black would be more my taste... not my taste...but close to it. I love the kit though.

Napalm
10-27-2006, 11:08 AM
Hell yes on a red car. Make sure you get matching red paint though, (spice for spice, torid for torid).

ALso I thought that was black on your car as well, if its violet, try painted the tails violet. I still think the black looks better, some of the red is bleeding through the yellow in the pictures. It just doesn't match.

Its also probably illegal here, with the light transmission requirements.

Still likin the rims, but they look expensive. Did you have to roll the fenders for clearance?

It looks OK... I liked the way the original rims looked better though. Or even if you just painted the center black and left the polished lip it would have looked better IMO. As long as you're happy though that's what counts.

Out here or even there for that matter, having a polished lip with everything else blacked out wouldnt be considered unique. Frankly, i'm more than satisfied with this result simply bcoz it blends well with the design. DeepDish+Bolts = Yummy.

Anyways, i guess most of ya'll hate the yellow effect on the tails. Here's what made me do it, i had them removed and then re-applied with matching paint color.

I like it, its everything a car should be. Truly unique, but also bold and powerful. After all a car is a personal expression of individual taste. I have 3 yellow vehicles, my wife loves yellow, so I understand the fun of having a bright and unique car.

Nice job updating the rims!!!!!!!
