congrats. I have a P90 and plan on a P89 in the near future.
Shoot alot and shoot often. Took me about 500 rds to get to point where I can hit a 3" Shoot n See at 25 yds with consistancy with th 90.

What caliber is it? Not familiar with the model #'s. I have a Ruger Redhawk 44 Mag stainless with 6" barrel.

It has Pachmyer grips on it now for better control. Most people that have handled my gun think it's too heavy, but I love that gun. Have put thousands of rounds through it and its still dead accurate.
don't forget about this sight: http://www.rugerforum.com/

Buddy of mine has one of those. When we go walking with guns (i.e. "pig hunting"), he was always trying to get me to carry it. After shooting two cylinders, I gave up. 44 mag for the rifle, 10 rds always, and never lower the barrel to determine if a follow is required, if I ever see a wild pig that is.

I thought the 10 day waiting period was a federal law. Is this just more communist actions taken against the residents of CA?

In Va you can walk in, buy and open carry out, no permit. Just need to apply for a CCW permit, which they have to give you if you aren't a felon, before you conceal it.
