Hello Everyone, last night i had a little accident by going over a curb at high speed into the shopping center, i lost control for a brief moment and i was suprised i didnt crash. Two of my tires got damaged right front and right rear and left front just went flat, luckily i was able to drive the car home before they went completly flat. 2 of the tires had a big gash in the sidewall and the rear tires where below safety so i just decided to change all 4 of em. since i didnt have any money and i need my car to go to work which i just started i bought these FUZION tires made by bridgestone or it was the bridgestone potenza which where like $400 more potenza $900 installed fuzion $556 installed, and i didnt want to pay extra money just because of the name as the dealer said. they have the exact same tread wear speed rating temperature and all that. So when i hit the curb 2 of my rims had a little damage to them on the inside of the rim it looked like it was bent outwards no pieces missing! and the guy who installed my tires said he couldnt balance it properly so i told him to put the 2 tires in the back rather than the front. so now i guesse i need to buy new rims and im not going back to the dealer which is another story all together i was wondering what good/decent rrims are out there that are affordable and look good that i can fit these new tires on? size of the tires are default 245/45/17 95w.

Thanks for listening everyone!

when they installed my new tires i think one of the dumbasses didnt know how to jack up the car and i think the bent the rear axle on the passanger side because before i brought it there it was straight now its crooked, what do i do? is it too late to go back there and tell them what they did or would my warranty cover that? i also have to go to the dealer to replace the master cylinder for the hydraulic clutch because its loosing fluid and im having problems shifting the car in reverse

Crap, you've got no luck it seems. Sorry to hear your bad news. I'd call up the guys that did the tires and complain because I doubt warranty will cover that morons stupidity.

Man that whole thing sucks. I would really worry that the place that changed out your tires will claim that the back axle was bent when you hit the curb.

OK so I will be the one to ask, how did you hit the curb going into the parking lot? Clip the inside when cornering it too tight? Fish tail the butt end out and have to correct? Whattup????

i simply clipped the curb going into the parking lot i cut the corner too soon going about 20 mph car is in the dealership now for the master cylinder leeking, and they said there gonna have a suspension person look at the other problem. BUT when i got back home after the incident of me hitting the curb all i noticed was the tires where damaged and the rim was a little bent in the inside i never noticed the rear tire sticking out the way it is now and i looked over every inch of that car when it happend

You didnt "simply clip the curb" to have 3 tires get taken out. If you bent a rim then you did "Crash". You didnt "almost crash". There is a 99% chance you bent that axle and not some guy that jacked the car up from the axle. Good luck trying to get them to pay for your mistake. Dont mean to sound rude but there is no sympathy for driver error.

lol i woulda realized after "the crash" if the axle was bent, everything was fine except for the tires and a little damage to 2 of the rims that i had fixed by a shop that was $75, only time i noticed the wheel crooked in the back was when i got home from the tire shop.

ALWAYS check carefully after work at tire shops-they hire a lot of morons. like the guy who repaired my tire then mounted it with the side marked INSIDE ONLY on the outside, or the guy who "balanced" my tires and couldn't recognize a belt separation, or the guy who "aligned" my wheels so the tires scrubbed bald.

With bent rims and three flat tires the car probably drove perfect :drink:
