What is the proper way to rotate the tires on my Pontiac GTO?

Rotate? (I've got directional tires in a staggered set up, just saves me money on rotating them) lmfao

It's in the owner's manual, but if memory serves me correct it's something like this:

above is correct in manual. Rears come foreward, fronts cross and go to the back

hmmm... I just rotated mine, but didn't cross anything.
Although a few months ago I was having alignment done and due to uneven wear of the fronts the shop switched the fronts from left to right. At least that's what I thought when I looked at the wear marks after they were done. I didn't watch them do the job though as I got pulled into a conf call at work.

don't change the tires from left to right with the 18" OEM bridgestone's. they are directional tires. just move the front to back, unless your shop is taking the tires off the rims, then they can put the tires where ever they want.
The OE 17" KDWS may be cross rotated left to right.

I'm pretty sure I recall my 04 manual pointing out front-to-back only, but it really depends on the tires that you have on.
