Looking at some Ruff Racing 278's in gloss black. Has anyone had any fitment issues on the front? Strut rub? I know the back will have to be rolled, cut or drag bagged.
19x8.5 35mm Front
19x9.5 45mm Rear
5x120 of course?

I have some 19's on order, and I'm still waiting after 3 weeks. I know of at least one member on this board who has them in 19", and he said he doesn't have any issues.
I will be grinding my rear fender down....
I believe this is Violat0rX from the board:

Yea I have read those posts. I figured that a few people would be rolling on them by now. They seem to fit the bill for what I am looking for, kinda concerned about strut rub though.

I don't see an issue with strut rub as the wheels will be pushed out a bit more with the +35 offset....hopefully others will chime in.

EXACTLY! The lower offset moves the wheel away from the strut. We normally try to fit the fronts with 35mm offsets for 18/19x8.5" wheels. You will have plenty of room near the strut and they won't stick out past the outter fender.

multistrada74 - I'm not sure what you mean by tire dimensions for the wheels...are you trying to figure out what tires will work and still have the same rolling diameter as the stockers? If so, here is what we normally package for the Ruff, AZA, and others:
F - 18x8.5" 35 or 40+ offset 245/40/18
R - 18x9.5" 40 or 45+ offset 275/35/18
OR
F - 19x8.5" 35 or 40+ offset 245/35/19
R - 19x9.5" 40 or 45+ offset 275/30/19
These setups keep as close as possible to the stock rolling diameter (that is the wheel + tire sidewalls), in fact, it's almost dead-on. Go here to do calculations: [URL="http://www.discounttire.com/dtcs/infoTireMath.dos [/URL]
Feel free to PM, email or call us with questions! We'd be glad to help you out!

This man knows his wheels. Listen carefully to what he says.

I have a guy that will send me some Ruff Racing 279s (19 x 8.5) for the front with an offset of +35. He said they don't have them in a +40 offset (which I've heard looks better), but that they can trim them down to around +38.
The rears are 19 x 9.5 with a +45 offset. My question is, should I have him machine these down to better "match" the rears (as far as how far they stick out from the fenders), or leave them alone as is. What do you think?
