View Full Version : 18 x 9.5 Thruxton's with 45mm offset

I am currently running 18 x 8 Thruxtons w/ 40 mm offset at all 4 corners and I am looking to get some wider rubber on the rear tires, so I was thinking about ordering 2 - 18 x 9.5 Thruxtons, but the only offset I can find is 45mm. This seems like too much and the wheels will stick out really far from the car. Anyone have this set-up?

Thanks

i found this in a search (I know, next time I'll search first) that pretty much answers my question http://www.ls1gto.com/forums/showthread.php?t=6956 6&highlight=9.5+thruxton

OK, so I'm running 19x9.5s, but the offset is the same.

Long story short, you'll be fine.

You'll be fine with that Offset, you'll just need to roll the fenders. Oh and BTW Doric your car looks incredible.

I'm running that set up. If you want to put on 275's you will have to grind/cut or roll the fenders.

cool, I like the staggered and 18/19 combo, didn't pick up on that from the pics.

do you have any pics that I can save for future reference? for some reason right click save isn't working on these pics.

I'm running 18x8 in the front and 18x9.5 in the rear. My center caps aren't back from the graphics shop yet though. But here is a pic for you. Oh yeah forgot....40mm offset in front 45mm in the rear.
