I'm looking at getting DRs for next season. Not sure I want to roll or cut the fenders after reading how hard it might be. So what are my choices if I don't roll or cut?
Thanks Larry

smaller tires... maybe some pedders +5/16 springs (little lift and firmer spring rate).

you could also grind down the rear fenders a little bit, not fully, but if you were in need of just the slightest bit of clearance, the grinder is your friend.

kind of depends what tire size and wheel you end up going with.

and im by no means an expert, just some oppinions.

I mean if I do nothing. Leave it 100% stock will anything fit?

I made a bunch of passes this year on 275 Nitto 555R drag radials, they fit my car with zero problems on stock 17's. No cutting or rolling done. I have heard some people had some issues though. The BFG's run a little wider and you will need to either cut or roll if you use those. Drag bags help keep your rear up to and will help plant the ass end of the car and can be purchased from sponsors to the left.

19x10's will fit in the back with 7 1/2" backspacing and Toyo T1R 275/30/19. No Grinding, No Rolling, No Rubbing Issues. Correct offset is key!

If you are getting 18 or 19x9 Drift R's 7" backspacing or as close as you can get it should work just fine with the above tire or 275/35/18! Hope that helps!

From what Ive heard - MT's will work with drag bags pumped all the way up 17-20 psi.

I run nittos and have had NO rub

Nitto 245-45's, same size as stock. They hook pretty well too.

I ran Nitto 245/45/17 DRs this year with no problems and hit 1.7 and 1.8 60s consistently with them. You do need to heat them up good though. I did not have any suspension mods, drag bags, or anything else. Plus no rolling or grinding required with them.

The Nitto's all the way up to the 275's will fit with out rubbing and without needing any clearence bone stock. They are not as good as other DR's, IMO, but will still do the job.

I am running Nitto 555r's with no issues and no modifications. I can't say that I can compare them to any other DR's, since these are the first/only ones I have ever owned, but they seem to handle my driving abilities and current horsepower just fine. You should be in the same ballpark as me with your current mods, so perhaps that is the ticket. I do have drag bags, I keep them at 5-7 psi on the street with no rub, a bit higher for hard launches (14-17 psi).

Whats the biggest I can fit with BFG DR?

I am looking for a good tire to hold horse power and good wear time for the street also

go with the 15 in bmw wheels and 235's. They stick and fit properly. People are cutting great 60's with them as well.

I think I am going to try drag bags for track days though.
