assuming that the 5 x 4.75" bolt pattern would fit (or would fit with hub rings) how would some of these wheels be for fitting a 275 tire on the rear?
http://www.lakeshorewheelandtire.com/general/z06-wheels.shtml
specifically:
front: 17 x 8.5 with a 49mm offset
rear: 18 x 9.5 with a 50 mm offset

there is a SLIGHT difference in blot spacing...
gto is 120 where as the corvette is 120.65
i think the wheels WILL go on but its not the correct fit
4.75" = 120.65mm and 120mm
the .65 gets lost in "Translation"
the front offset seems high for such a wide wheel.. id be worried about rubbing but i have no experience with those sizes

IIRC you need spacer plates for the front of the car.....

Question, do they make any wheel adapters, that would also work as spacers, to go from 5X120 to 5X120.65 (or whatever way goes from Vette to GTO)? I will not buy these wheels if they are not the absolute correct bolt pattern...

Hmmm there IS another thread where a guy says hes run the corvette rims on his gto for several thousend miles with no problems... it is .65 of a mm after all, and i think the only way to Adapt them would be to use Corvette hubs

people are running vette, ws6, and camaro rims with no problems, they give us a much better selection of wheels with better offsets for the rear. Im planning some Z06's on my goat in the next month or two... You need a 5mm (i think) spacer for the front, and longer studs for the front also.
