I know not everybody likes the "all black" look, but I'm really diggin' it! I had them powder coated in a low-gloss "paccar" black. I painted the center caps with a flat-black high heat resistant paint and got a set of lugs with black plastic caps from SLP to finish it out. The finish ended up being miles above what the stock paint looked like. Cost was about $45 per wheel with a $30 charge to media blast all of them. My next step is to tape off and paint the fender badges and Pontiac arrows the same flat black I did the center caps in. I know it's dirty as hell, but these pics are right after I got it down off the jackstands. I washed it this morning, but it rained an hour later. I'll get better and more well lit pics up when it quits pissing ice outside.

Yeah, I know the all black thing is pretty unpopular. I guess all that matters is that I like it. It looks much better in person than in those crappy, low-light pics.

Agreed all that matters is that you like it. For me I can get used to the black on black wheels when there is a chrome or polished lip to offset them.

I had matte black powder on the stock 20's on my SS pickup and liked it. It worked out well using gas grille paint????? I think is what it was called. It had a weird half-flat look going and matched the powder well. Nice job mang

I like the C6 too!

I did my stockers the same all black and use them in the winter months. (I still need to snap some pics.)

I have got to say, black wheels on a black car look awesome.

Amazing end result! It reminds me somewhat of Mad Max in the orignal movie. I think thats my next mod. Thanks for the idea.

Well, it's been drizzling since I washed it. Them damn wheels get dirty in a hurry! Oh well. At least I won't be able to see excess brake dust.
