Got my strut bar today

Today, my BMR Fabrications strut tower bar arrived....

The difference between the factory bar and this makes you wonder how the factory bar manages to function! The bar is alot larger dia. and the welds are smooth! Bolting it on tonight.

Quick question - does the bolt pattern match up with the stock unit - or do you have to drill new holes?

Mine bolted right in place of the location for the stock unit.

Glad to hear some have arrived already and in good shape. We will be shipping all Impulse Blue orders out this Friday so those of you with orders can expect them next week sometime. Ten bars are being dropped off at the painters this Friday also to be painted Yellow Jacket and ten more for Torrid Red next week. Sorry the painted bars are taking a little longer to ship out, it takes about a week to coordinate with the painters. Plus, once we get them back, we have to let the urethane paint outgas for 2 days before we can ship them out. Just so you know, all painted bars have a powdercoat base for maximum durability and rust protection.

I havent got the BMR for my goat yet, but I bolted a Hotchkis on my 02 camaro ss awhile back and there was a noticeable difference.. cornering was a little tighter, steering a little more responsive.

I'm sure every vehicle's going to respond different. Can't wait to find out how it effects the GTO! :)

Add me to the list of those getting this for themselves for their b-day present. there's a good side and bad side to that though. gotta wait about 8 months for my b-day, but hopefully get to see what they will do with the 05 before i decide to go ahead with the 04.

Got my strut brace today! Silver powdercoat.. looks a little like aluminum from certain angles. No goat to put it on though.. it's at CarToys till Fri. then I put it on Fri evening, go try it out :p
