2004 GTO Quick Silver for sale with almost 40,000 miles. All engine mods in sig were done at MTI in Houston, TX. Put down 418 RWHP. It is a good deal because I don't want to play games and want to sell it. Look on the board at the modded cars and see how long they set for and never sale at a higher price. The car looks good runs great and when ypu come drive it you will agree. I am leaving my job to pursue full-time ministry and that means no money for now so that is one reason for selling. Maybe that doesn't hold much water in todays world with the bad rep some preachers have given us, but I am honest and you will see that on inspection. Buy it and see.

Underoath nothing is replacing it. We have 3 cars with the GTO. Looking to let it go to someone who will appreciate as much as I have. This is a hard thing for me to do, but it must be done in order to keep things in balance. Since I won't be working and just going to school and seminary I have to let goooooooooooo.

How is the condition of the interior and exterior?

Interior is in great shape with the normal wrinkles on the driver's seat. The exterior has a few rock chips as is expected from 40,000 miles. Normal wear and tear describes it. I will try to get detailed pics up today or tomorrow.

The car is the same as Tony of AFR did. All componenets are put together in order to pass emmissions. Yes it can be driven on the street and it is just like a normal GTO with a little shake from the cam and more power. In town gas mileage averages 15 but on the HWY at 75-80 I get 23-24. Car is quite tame except when you put your foot in the floor.

Here are the pics of recent on the car. In them you will see the few chips and the one ding in the fender I did by pressing my weight on it when I was bouncing the car to find the suspension rattle. I am sure it can be pushed out if the fender was taken off. Also the chip by the front headlight was when I hit a nice deer and I just replaced the light and put some touch up there. Also one of the clips broke on the bumper right by that chip. I never replace the tab just pulled it flush back with a zip tie. Supposedly you can order clips from the dealership to repair. If not then my fix works and you can't tell or you have to replace the whole bumper or find a plastic welder. Again it is just the one clip and nothing that detracts from the car.

Hope these pics show the condition of the car. This is a really good deal for someone wanting a good car and with all the mods without the price. I hate to see the car go, but again priorities in life have to be in order and the car is not one. Some may wonder why it is such a low price. I owe little and I don't want to wait 6-7 months and fool with all the questions everyday. I am sure if I held out I could get 23-24 but that is all right. I would rather sell fast than play the sell game. Car is in the Hill Country about 55 miles west of Austin, Texas. Leave me a PM if you want to come and view the car and go for a ride.

You can't buy a used GTO and the parts at this price. The price is very reasonable.
The reason it hasn't sold is probably because everyone wants something for nothing and this price is real close to it.

No, it's because mods add little to no value to a car and a used 2004 GTO has a market value of anywhere from $15k to 18k, tops.

I am glad somebody understands that this is a fair price and mods do add value. I do understand that mods will never return a price equall to what you pay for them. This is why my car is priced the way it is and because I really don't want to take forever to sale, but looks like everyone wants a car, but they either want it given to them or they can't afford it.

Either way I don't have to sale and if it means waiting 6 months for this price then I will wait. So if you want a good deal on a car then buy mine. If not then go get one at the dealer and pay the same price for an 04 without all the goodies.

yeah, just subtract the price of your AFR heads and your car will be at market value. Personally, the lowest price I have seen on a stock '04 is 18K. I may have seen one for 17K on here. I'm wondering where the 15K goats are lol. If I had the cash I'd buy your car. Especially since probably the best shop in the country did your mods. I want a GTO so bad it's killing me.

No you were correct. I was thinking about another post when I wrote it and just never changed it thats all. Its still a good price. I am about a month out from making a purchase so I wish I could look at it more seriously.

Nobody wants a good deal I guess. Maybe the miles which is about average for a 3 year old car and it is winter time too. This summer will be better. Also some folks just want something for nothing and are waiting to see the price drop. I don't have to sale it so I have all the time in the world.

I doubt that's it... it took me several months to sell my daughter's NEON and when I did, I just about gave it away to someone who was learning to become a Registered Nurse. I found out later that this fellow traded the car for something new... he made his money on the thing.

Be patient, and maybe expand your market... most folks on this web site already have a GTO; with the summer coming, you should get good bites on your great car.

I had to have my clavicle shaved from years of body building. It isn't too bad, just can't use my arm for a while.

I have never been to the track with it. Only run it on the back roads for fun.

Just another plug about mods and value for the naysayers...

Mods DO add value to a car when sold to an enthusiast. To a dealer, they don't add much (but DO add a little actually - based off experience). I sold my modded 2001 Grand Prix GTP with 86k for 12k. Book value, private party, at the time was 9k. I had about 6k in the engine. A GP enthusiast saw the car, and payed me the 12k I wanted for it, "as is". If I sold it any cheaper, the mods would have came off (I retained all the stock parts).

Yes it is. I think you would be very happy with this car once you see and drive it. There is $9,000 in parts not including labor. This is a big savings from buying stock and duplicating.

I have nothing but time. Car is paid for. I want to sell, but do not have to, that is the best position to be in. I will be putting it on Ebay in another month or so.
