I have not driven the car yet but clearance looks pretty good.

equal on both sides so the rear cradle must be mostly accurate on alignment.

I pushed down on the car, opened the trunk and had two of my fat buddies sit in the trunk edge and they still did not touch.

So I am assuming I won't have any problems with rubbing unless the car squats too much on launch.

If so I will install drag bags.

Probably need to do that anyway to help with wheelhop

I have those on the back right now (for the track tonight) and I haven't had any rubbing since the last time at the track. Unless you have big mods you should be alright.

Sounds good dude, consider putting on Pedders 5/16'' drag springs if you do rub. I'd prefer doing that to drag bags but either will get you the results you want.

i really wish nitto made their DRs in 275/35/18, but no, only 285:(

hmmm, if i can make my 275 BFGs work, im sure i can make a 285 nitto work:angel:

Yes I have stock 17" wheels, those nittos look cool on the back (us rednecks like that wider on the back look-LOL)

I like the idea of pedders springs, since it appears the rear springs could be changed in just a few minutes. I like the air bag idea since it is adjustable with air pressure, however I figure the air bags will wear out fast being "rubber bags of air" as where the springs will live forever.

I have 275 Nitto's on the back to. No rubbing to speak of, haven't run them at the track yet though. I have drag bags, so the extra stiffness will likely ensure that I don't squat so much that I rub. Good luck with them.
