New AZA Z1's 19" Staggered Set-up arrived - CRAP!!!!!

Got home from work and the wheels and tires were here. Waited 12 days to get them after the warehouse sent them to Sean instead of me. Sean resent them to me. Opened the wheels and EVERY one of the chrome rims had dents and scrapes in them as if the MONKEY mounting them was blind. Took pictures and sent them to Sean/T.J. I can't believe Wheelmax sent them out this way!!! Let's see how long it takes them to make it right!!! I'M SICK!!!!
Plus the fact that I sold the staggered 18"AZA Z1's the day I ordered the new set. I'm riding on stockers. UGH!!!

Can you explain this situation better? What warehouse sent the wheels to Sean instead of you. What connection is there between Wheelmax and Topshelf? Did Topshelf do the mounting or did Wheelmax??????

Top Shelf gets them from Wheelmax. They are mounted/balanced/shipped from Wheelmax for Topshelf. Sean's operation is first rate. He is working as we speak to make this right for me. I got my 18" staggered Z1's from Sean/Wheelmax with NO problems, this set was HOSED.

My wheels were fine (no tires) and yes, the invoice says wheelmax. TopShelf is just a distro, no shop to mount tires or anything so Im gonna take my chance with tires being mounted by my house...

I'm cornfused!? So, you buy the wheels from TopShelf and they come from Wheelmax? Yet, TopShelf apparently offers better prices & customer service than Wheelmax?

Time will tell for me, as I'm on the list for Z-1's in black 18"s from Topshelf...or whomever.:p

Be warned I had a similar problem with wheels bought from Top Shelf which were shipped from Wheel Max. Top Shelf would not make it reight untill the wheels were returned to Wheel Max. It took wheel Max over a month to issue the ticket to UPS authorizing them to pick up the wheels during this time phone calls to Top Shelf did not good they just told me they were at the mercy of "their distributor". Hope you have a better experience. I ended up buying Beyern 5s from my local Dscount Tire ( to add insult to injury Discount gave me a much better price on the new tires, as well as, a $300 credit for my OEM tires)and have not stopped smiling.

That's probably the first time I have ever heard anything bad said about Top Shelf on this forum. I've been very impressed with their customer service so far in the shopping stage. Hopefully it'll all work out great when the 18s arrive.

I have been screwed by Top Shelf/Wheelmax. Bought from Top Shelf/NOT WHEELMAX 18"z1's and the clear coat came off in 2 months. Car lives in the garage, Driven in the evening/weekends in mild Tx. weather. Called Sean and he said to call wheelmax(I had never heard of them) to save delays. So, talked to sales guy and HE suggested I purchase new rims then send old ones back to get refund. Trusting the guy I did purchace Z9's. This was done to avoid down time. Called 2 or 3 weeks later looking for my $ and the sales guy said due to change in ownership no one will pay. Contacted top shelf and after a couple of months of waiting for a responce from Sean he said he was sorry. Sorry my ass, I bought from top shelf NOT wm. He needs to step up to the plate. I am a small buisness man and I get finacialy hurt occasionly, just part of the buisness!

Problem is resolved. Sean bought me ANOTHER set of wheels/tires on his dime and they are shipping today, PLUS he is handling the return of the bad set that I still have. He was VERY supportive of my problem and took care of me, outstanding customer service. The supplier was being less than forthcoming to rectify the problem and Sean stepped up to the plate and MADE IT RIGHT!!
