With no rolling or cutting the lips?
245/40R18 and 275/35R18 , its on 8's and 9.5's..If they wont fit I may do the 245/40's all the way around.. Is $1520 shipped a good price, or can I find them cheaper?

You will have to roll or cut the rear fenders, how much will depend on exactly what tires you're going with...

You're going to have a great looking setup...personally, I wish I'd gone with the 275's in the rear - I did 255's and the rear well looks a little empty to me....IMO..... with Toyo T1R's you'll have to do a little rolling....quick job....

I'm running TSW Lagunas, which are 9" wide, with 265 Falkens which run narrow and I did not have to roll or cut, but that extra .5" on the Thruxtons could make a big difference along with tire choice.
I also have to agree with SteveInSAT, even with the 265s it just doesn't "fill out" with the wheels the way a nice fat 275 would. The 265s are also pretty stretched out on the 9" wheel, so a 255 or 265 would be really stretched on the 9.5 Thruxton. Hope that helps somewhat

Well they do offer it in a 18X9 and 18 X8..I guess I could run those, not sure what tire I could use..

Yes you will have to roll or cut. I am running Kuhmo 275/35/18's and I had to completely cut my fenders, and I still have a bit of rubbing. THe Kuhmo's have a very square side-wall, and this contributes to the rubbing. It is a very slight rub, and easy to live with. You will love the look!

ok stock was 235/40ZR18, I can get teh wheels in a 8 or 9", tirerack says I can go to a 9.5" rim..So my ?? is why will this not work if I use stock size tires? shouldnt rub if the car was made with them..

well the car was made with 18x8 and with a 48mm offset, not 18x9.5 with an even lower offset (45mm on thruxton)... so they "fit" but they require fender mods. I believe you can run the 18x8 40mm all around with no problem.. with this car, offsets make or break our wheel selection, search around you will find a lot of threads regarding TSW wheels

As said above, stock wheels have a different offset. Thruxtons sit further away from the hub. If you ordered 18x8's all the way around you would not need to roll/ cut the fenders. The 18x9.5 however sit pretty far out and need cutting/rolling or else they will rub. They are good looking wheels though!!! Of course I am biased.

Actually 18x8's will probably rub on the rear due to the change in offset from the stock 18x8's (48 to 40), from what I've seen on here it usually rubs on one side due to cradle alignment issues, and again it would depend in part on the specific tire you go with. But, you could get lucky as some have and not have any problems, with the TSW 18x8 it's pretty much a try it and see what happens thing with these cars.

maybe Im confused, if a 18x9.5 has a 45mm offset and wont fit without modifying the lips, how will a 18X8 with a 40 offset work? and the stocker has a 48 offset?? HELP!!!

That's the point I was making, sometimes it does work, very very close, but it works, but from what I've seen on here you have to get very lucky for it to work without modding the fenders. Like I said, you just have to try it and see how your particular car looks. I took a chance and went with the 9in wide wheels (for the bigger lip) and got lucky that with the 265s they fit without issues, but I was prepared to cut the fenders if I had to, and that's what I plan on doing when these are worn out and I go to 275s.
Personally I would go on and get the wider wheels and just be prepared to mod the fenders... you might have to do it anyway even if you go with the 8in wide, so for me it was worth the staggered look and ability to go with bigger tires.

Roh makes wheels with better offsets, I think 50 something, and you could talk to Sean @ Topshelf about Ruff wheels, I think they might have some different offsets. If you want to drop the cash go custom with CCW, iForged, or OZ... Other than that these cars are hard to find wheels for
