Finally going to get some rims for the GTO, I am going with the Smoothie II's, I have seen a few pics of people that have them on their goats here, and they look pretty sharp. Also, they are actually affordable when compared to other Boyd's, that are like 100 more a piece. I am going to keep the stock tires, so of course the rims will be 17X8. I am going to order from Newstalgiawheel.com, they seem like a pretty trustworthy site and their prices are pretty good on them as well, I can wait!
So my question is their site asked for Backspacing and Bolt pattern. Bolt pattern is 5X120.00mm? I think I got that part.
Then it asked for backspacing, it says minimum is 4.5" maximum is 6.25", so I need to list it in inches of course.
One user on the board said he ordered these and used his stock tires with diminsions 17x8 with +44 offset and 5x120.00, so is offset the same as backspacing? if so what would the +44 be in inches?
