Silver AZA Z-1 Price and Pics

I want the Hyper Silver AZA Z-1 rims if that's what's its called. I want the 18's in front 19's in back. For the 19's in the back I want to go widest I can without rolling the fenders and the deep dish as well.

Widest you'll be able to go without rolling the fenders is 8.5". That won't have the "deep dish" you're looking for. Another problem is that the 18's are currently not in stock anywhere.

Nope. You can go 9" in the rear without rolling... IF you have drag bags. Mine are 245/35/19 front, 275/30/19 rear. With the Toyo T1r's, which have a rounder shoulder, I've not had to roll my fenders. That's also keeping about 14-15lbs in the drag bags at all times though. Otherwise, they do rub.

The drag bags are a great investment dollar for dollar anyway. Especially when it comes to helping with wheel hop.

Last I heard the 18's were deffinately out of stock. Top Shelf Performance (a sponsor on this site) said they'd be available shortly though. You're best bet would be to contact them so they can give you an estimated availability on them.

18s are out of stock in hyper silver and black. I'm waiting for a set in black.

If you want to go 19, I would go wide and roll/cut the fenders. The small hassle will be very worth it in traction and looks. I was against rolling/cutting at first, but after seeing the 275s out back on a car, I was sold. All IMHO. Your car man, do what makes you happy!

Look at my first post in this thread. AZA Z1's on PBM. They are silver, but not blingy like chrome. Just right IMO. :)

Can you tell me the exact wheel /tire combo on that car? Also did you roll or cut, or are you running drag bags? That looks better than any other set-up I've seen on a QS car.

Can you tell me the exact wheel /tire combo on that car? Also did you roll or cut, or are you running drag bags? That looks better than any other set-up I've seen on a QS car.

I wish I could, but this wasn't my car (I guess I wasn't real clear on that, sorry). This is what I wanted my car to look like, so Sean at Top Shelf sent me these pics. My QSM was totaled in December and now I'm in a BOM, waiting on the black 18" Z-1s.

It looks like to me the fenders were cut or rolled, based on the bottom pic (the lip disappears at the 10:00 position).

Sorry I couldn't be of more help, and I agree, the hyper silver Z-1s look awesome on the QSM!

If I didn't think my wife would castrate me for selling another set of wheels and tires, I'd dump my Thruxtons for the Z1s in a heartbeat. The Z1 is the wheel I wanted back in February of '05 when I was ordering wheels - they weren't in stock, so I got impatient and ordered Fittipaldi Forces. :(

Waiting is the hardest part. I've been ready to jump ship to the Thruxtons a couple of times, but have stayed strong. I'll keep waiting. I'm ready to buy the black ones, but of course, will probably change my mind on that and go hyper silver. I guess it will depend on what I'm thinking the day they are back in stock.

I'm with Lisa. I went with the 19's and drag bags + King springs. They are not blingy or chrome. Just clearcoated high polished aluminum.
