Gun owners.....Kahr arms anyone got one

Im still searching for my new carry gun and i held a Karh .40 this weekend and i must say it feels much better than the compact glocks and is very slim and fits great in the hand.....just wondering if anyone could comment on them....quality would you buy again etc....so far i havn't found any thing bad about it.

Very nice choice for a carry piece. I own both Glock and Kahr firearms and IMHO I find no difference in quality. My Kahr has had many hours on the range and performed flawlessly.

thanks.... i liked how it fit my hand i didn't care for how the glock felt unles it had the ext mag in it.

4 or 5 years ago I had a Kahr 9mm and overall thought it was a pretty nice pistol. It had one hell of a stout spring in the action, I think it was built for + or ++ hand-loaded 9mm. Sometimes when manually racking the action, my hand would slip off, especially if a bit sweaty.

i still havn't shot a glock....not sure of the model it was but it was compact.....but i didn't like how my pinky finger was placed under the mag of the glock unless it had the extended mag.

so far i am looking at i want to shoot them all and then start narrowing it down.

I was debating on a Kahr when i bought my glock 30. Kahr just didn't have the CA legal 45acp that i needed. If i had purchased a second carry i would have chosen a Kahr for sure, it's great for smaller framed people who can't conceal a bigger "gat" very well. They shoot nicely.

Get a kimber cqb compact and forget the rest. If you want a glock in 40 cal, the the glock 23. 10mm is just a faster 40 cal that cost alot more.

the 10mm would be more of a "fun" weapon but the extra cost of ammo is driving me away from it.....

They are a great firearm company. Like someone else here mentioned, the spring on this gun is really stiff. They are accurate as hell, very well made. The only problem with Kahr firearms? It is owned by the Reverend Moon's son, who is a Moonie himself and I didn't want my money going to them.

Just bought three new pieces the other day. Got another Kimber .45 with laser sights, my other Kimber doesn't have them and they are sweet. Also picked up a VERY nice little .380 Kel-Tec pocket rocket. You put one in the pipe and just pull and fire because it has a very long throw. Also a Glock .40 with 23 round magazines, they call them "mini 10's".

I really liked the Kimber CDP but it didn't conceal as well as the kahr........the kimber is still on the list to get though....

who the hell are the moonies? are they socialist commies!!!? if so no kahr for me.....

I agree. I just picked up a Springfield XD 40 yesterday and I love it so far.

You really can't go wrong with any of the choices listed thus far though - it's whatever feels most comfortable to you.
