I have 2004 black a4 and i'm looking for a nice set of 2-piece or if price is right 3-piece wheel. I want as much lip as I can get with a 18 inch but I don't want rubbing issues. I'm interested in ZE FORGED BOOST or IFORGED AERO (colors) gloss black , hyper black , or polished / chrome .
Please post comments I need help to deside
PS sorry I don't have pics

I almost got the ZE forged but I was told they could'nt put much of a lip on the rears so I went with CCW 18x10 in the rear. If your priority is a really large lip, you will have to go with a 19in. One of the guys from ZE said that on the goat, you should go with a 19 if you are looking at a 5 spoke wheel in order for it to look good. I did'nt want to loose anymore traction, so I went 18 and think they look good.

I picked 18 inch because michigan known for bad roads ,and I want as much tire as I can get. I like large lips but not as important as traction and fitment with suspension , I'm wanting to buy the pedders suspension kit . Thinking of coilover 1 inch drop with big bore 1/2 inch drop rears, but don't want rubbing issues because of the lowering.
PS I just think with these roads and the lowering that 19x8-1/2 & 19x9-1/2 would be not enough tire and wheels maybe to big.

There's a blue car from Missouri with ZE Forged wheels on it. They look great and I can't ever remember him complaining about poor quality.
Edit - CSiJason is his SN.

Nah he never complained about em. They were the ZEForged Hi Octane and last I heard they were for sale. Sic looking wheels that I really wanted, money situation wasn't there at the time. Thought they would look awesome on the QS and am pretty sure they were staggered with custom offset. I think he was asking like $1700 for the wheels and the tires, which were bald and needed to be replaced.
Here is a link to them on bozeforged.com: http://www.bozeforged.com/hioctane.html
Great guy and I was really hoping to be able to get em. Just couldn't put together the funds.

I was quoted $2940 for a 18x8, 18x9 wheel set in a different style than the "Boost". I suspect the pricing is the same or similar across the line.

I like my ZE Forged wheels. And the price was only slightly more than off the shelf wheels.
On that note, I keep putting mine up for sale since i'm trying to go to a 19" wheel (assuming I keep the car for that matter) but i'm having a hard time with buyers. If anyone is interested pop me a PM and i'll get back with you when I get back in town next week.

Jason - Man I wish I could drop the money on those because I think they would look sick on my QSM. Instead when we were talking before I decided to go get a 55" JVC TV and now......the wife is prego with our first kid
I don't think she would approve me dropping the coin on wheels when we are getting ready to make a car payment in day care each month. I do have a review coming and possible bonus so if that happens :wall: I might be coming your way.

Having a hard time with buyers? I thought you sold those wheels to me a few months ago, said I was high bidder but never heard a word from you after we went back & forth with pm's. Give me a break!

Damn, I had three people lined up to buy them and I cleared my PM's and lost track of who wanted them. I posted trying to figure out who it was but dont think anyone replied that I had already been talking to. Sorry... :wall:
