My wheels are Pitting!!!!!

I bought some Stern St-1 wheels off of Ebay, and I was told I would not have a problem with the road salt ect. And now all 4 wheels are pitting big time. I talked to the manufacter which is a whole saler and they will not stand behind their product. The Ebay seller won't do anything either. The seller is uapone. What should I do?

Call Stern to see if they have a warranty on the finish, but I doubt they will honor it becuase you didn't buy from an authorized reseller. If the rims are polished just take some fine steel wool and aluminum polish and scrub them clean. Once you clean them apply a good wheel wax/sealer on them.

and then dont drive them in the snow, especially if u have summer tires...

Do any of you know where I could have them stripped and mirror polished? If I did that I could then have them cleared and be done with it. I read in another thread there is a place called Transwheel located in Elk Grove Illinois. Does anyone have the phone number? I called information but they couldn't find the listing.
