Greetings fellow GTO owners... It's time to let the Delorean move on to another home... I originally bought this car because of my position at Universal, but since I am no longer there... it's time to move on.
It has been fully restored by Delorean Motor Company of Florida in Bonita Springs, and serviced and maintained at DMC Texas, Delorean One, and PJ Grady... all certified Delorean Technical Centers. Included with the car are all the original documents of purchase, as well as documents related to the upkeep of the vehicle... these go all the way back to 1983.
The car is 1 of the rare 165 late November 81's produced that included grey interior, 5 speed, grooved hood, rear antennae, and console clock. There is no frame rust, and the car is in mint condition. Just ask the kids that saw it at the Track Day in Bradenton.
Many of the original parts were replaced during the restoration including...
Machine Finished Rims, NOS seats (not DMC reproductions), all hoses and belts, brake system, fuel system, Eibach Suspension, Engine cover, Louvres, Tail lamps (PJ Grady), 140mph Speedo and $6000 Stereo install with Navigation.
Most Deloreans online are sold between 18-20K, and these cars need about 10k to get up and runnning... refurbs and NOS cars run between 45K-75K (Delorean.com and Deloreanone.com)
I would like to get 30K, or possibly even trade vehicles.
