I have the TSW Kyalami wheels in silver, but want them black keeping the polished lip. I was quoted $360, plus I'll have some curb rash removed from 2 of the wheels. Is this reasonable?
This is what I want my wheels to look like...

I just had my stock rims done. I went to a powdercoat place they quoted me $125 a rim to blast and coat them. So $500 total. I didnt like that idea so I found a different blaster, had them blasted for $80 and then since I work for a metal company that does pretty much everything I got them powdered black for free.

It was an extra $100 per wheel to have my boyds done before they were shipped out.
I'd say you've got a decent price there. ;)

Thanks guys. I figured this price wasn't too bad. After I first bought the wheels (used), I checked into getting the curb rash repaired and was going to have the centers painted black. I was quoted close to $550, so I figured I would check around.
I've seen the work of the powder coater that will be doing my wheels and he does some quality work. I guess I'll move forward with this next week.
Thanks again!

Cost to do this process if the rim is new is about 35-50 a rim. I am considering getting mine new ones done in black also, still up in the air.

Can they powdercoat the stock 18"s or do they have to be a certain type of wheel?

Im getting my stock 18's done in a medium grey. (forget the actual name because its not like graphite or whatever youd think) Its a dupont outdoor UV resistant matte finish. 35 bucks a wheel. O yes.:-pimp:
