Hi guys,

Just got my ccw 505a's in man there totaly worth it. Anyways I notice the tires hit my fender liner when the backend goes down and taking a lil of my tire rubber. What would you guys suggest on to resolve this problem. I was thinking of just cutting the piece where both rear tires are hitting/touching and should be fine but I'll see what you guys have to say as well.

I would roll or cut the rear fenders, its a known issue with ccw's.Mine did it and John at CCW recommends having it done.Certain brands of tires run wider than others but in my case KDW II's rubbed.

I shaved my rear fenders AND had to hammer the inside fender well too....

What tires are you running? I have got mine on order with the Toyo Proxes and in 8 out of 10 times, these will not rub according to John and Chip. I DO NOT want to roll or cut my fenders!!

Mine don't rub at all with T1-R's.

That is what i have 18x8.5 in the front with 255/35/18 Toyo Proxes T1-R's and 19x10 in the back with 275/30/19's when my back end goes down when i mash it that when the back tires hits the fender liner guess I'll go to a body shop have the cut some of the fender liner off

Mine rubbed in the rear when hitting the smallest of bumps or under moderate acceleration. I ended up buying the Eastwood roller and rolled them myself. Then I notice rubbing on the inner fender well under hard cornering, so I took a hammer to the spot. Now, it's great!

Also, I don't think that springs would have helped because they rubbed under the lightest of loads.

Don't be worried about rolling your fenders...it isn't a big deal and you can't even tell that it was done.

My 505a's with 275 T1-R's rubs ever so slightly on the right... thinking about rolling the fender...

so ur saing that with either the 18" or 19" CCW 505A even with the Toyo Proxes TR-1 with a 275/30/19 or 18 that the tires will rub.

What tire size with a CCW 19" rim is there never a problem with and don't tell me a 245.

I do not want to cut or roll nothing. I have the stock 18" polished rim with 245's in the rear on now. I am considering leaving it as is.

Same here, but with KDW2s (245/275).
