Please help me out here. I'm trying to decide which DR's I want to use when all is said and done with my power adders. Which will me a Maggie, cam, and headers.
I plan on doing more suspension work i.e. Pedders 0" drop springs and Big Bore shocks and more bushings.
My question is can I run MT's and NOT roll my fenders in order to get them to fit or should I consider a different DR? I will be in the market for 2 OEM wheels soon to mount my DR's. At the moment I don't plan on changing out the OEM wheels. I might, but that's not my plan for now. I don't want to buy the same parts more than once uless I break something. Then it's time to upgrade.:D

If you stay with 275's and no bigger. You should not have any trouble. The stiffer shocks and springs will help alot. As far as I have heard. The MT DR's are the better DR out there. I still have my Nitto, and have yet to try a MT DR.
Oh, and roll the fenders just to be sure.

Might be unavoidable. Rolling is reversable. Cutting is not. I did not want to roll mine either. But, I neded to to get my RUFF wheels and 275 rubber under there.

Guess the search is on for someone that can roll fenders in my area. Then again I'll be doing some travelling. Maybe I'll find someone along the way that can help out.

There fixed that for ya.
For as much HP that will be going to the wheels wouldn't I want a little more sidewall?

More sidewall will be more affective with a wider rim. When you are forcing the tire to fit on a rim smaller than the tread size, you are loosing the affect of having a wider tire. Switch to a 9" wide rim that will fit the tire, and the whole tire will contact the pavement giving you more traction.

running the same deal, only with the +5/16 springs...
Passenger side was fine, no rolling or cutting, drivers side was grinded a little bit...
I've run every drag radial out there, and I must say after all those experiences, i will never run anything but these Mickey Thompsons...

Are you still using your stock wheels or did you go aftermarket?
