AZA Z9's going on Monday afternoon....

My wheels came in yesterday, I went with the black AZA Z9 in a 18"x8.5". They list it as a black wheel but actually only the back half of the wheel is black, the face is machined aluminum, the lip is chrome, and it has a 1/4" wide black accent in the center of each spoke. I think they are gonna look awesome on my black car.

I'm taking it to the tire shop on Monday, gona try out those new General Exclaim UHP's in 245/40-18. I liked the wet traction rating on that tire along with the treadware and such.

I hope they hold up like my current tires have. I bought a set of 245/45-17 BFG Schorcher TA's, the tire that is straight grooved and came in colors, and I've put 37k on them and they still have another 10-15 left in them!

that's the ones. I got 'em from wheel max during their Easter Special. 8% off plus 12 month interest free financing.....I do love interest free financing....it's almost like making money buying things. lol

sweet rims. so you really liked the Scorchers? i just got a set. sitting in the garage dont know if i want to use them though. they are 245/45/17 with yellow. 9/32 tread left, almost like new. i might just flip them, but if you say they were nice..........

I bought mie because they were cheap and I was in a bind at the moment. That was in August 05 and now 37,000 miles later they're still good. I can barely notice any wear on the fronts. They pretty much suck for traction at launch, definitely not the best performance tire I've used. They do ride good, handle well, and have pretty good wet traction too. All around they're pretty good, and considering I only had $70 each in them I'll never put them down.

I had the all black ones though.....don't know if I could have lived with myself if I had to use the colored stripes.....lol
