So I just got a good deal on a set of Beyern 5's from TByrne, ordered 18x9.5 for out back and 18x8.5 up front. The 2 rears arrived first, mounted and balanced and ready to go... then the 2 fronts arrived but the tires were separate (not mounted). This was not TByrne's fault but their vendor's mistake. So anyway, I went today to go have the front 2 mounted & balanced. I steered away from the local tire shops because I was afraid they wouldn't have the latest equipment and might scratch the wheels. So I go out of the way to D!scount T!re... Have the mounted and then I notice when they put them in the truck for me that 1 of them had a gouge in it AND a scratch running on the face of the lip for about halfway around the wheel!!!?!?!?! WTF... I go back in the store and ask them to come out and look. They were not apologetic and then 1 of them had the nerve to turn to the other employee and say "Did you look to see if they were like that before mounting, maybe they were damaged in shipping"... Nice try, but no, these were perfect and brand spankin' new! So, fortunately I didn't have to tell them what to do, they went in and ordered me a new one. Should be here next week... What luck!? Oh well, at least I didn't have to argue with them.
