wheel fitment

Hi all,

New to the board, but I have been reading alot. I have a question for you...It seems there are few choices for us as far as rims go, so I started searching based on bolt pattern and offset. As long as these criteria are met the wheels in question should fit, right? What other factors are involved? For example, a wheel
that is 8.5" and has a 5x120mm bolt pattern with a 42mm offset should work just fine on our cars, right? I have been searching all over and I would like to find a set of wheels I like.

I'm running a BMW 3-series fitment wheel, which is 18x8, 5x120mm, 40mm offset. They fit perfect without rubbing. Not sure if your particular setup will work, but the critical spec is the offset.
