That 3rd brake light in the rear facia reminds me of a trailer hitch with a light cover on... Doesnt look bad, but that was my first impression....
Nothin else wrong with that car... Love it... Bring em on... We need more... Like the Ute as the new El Camino.... I think it would sell like hotcakes... Without dealer gouging of course... :)

Well, thats pretty much it. It's not legal to tow with a Monaro in the UK because you cannot adjust the headlight level in the car. So they put in a rear fog light which may or may not have been a requirement anyway.

19" VZ GTO wheels, no?
Top Gear will probably complain about the boot space, as it will now be the same as the GTO. Last years model had the big boot.

Less trunk, more engine. It's how us Yanks do.

It is actually a Rear Fog Light, it is a requirement in al european cars that they have one installed, alas holden has to find a way of putting on into the bodykit of the monaro

The Vauxhall shown above is what Holden? Monaro GTS? Monaro GTO? I like that front and rear bumper but don't know what "trim level" to look for to match that car.

Its a HSV GTO rebadged as a Vauxhall.
The HSV GTS does not get exported.

Looks a little like the Autocross bodykit, at least judging from the rear shots of the dual split exhaust.

The vauxhall monaro is a rebadged Holden Monaro CV8 I think the frontbar as well as the back exterior looks nicer on the HSV GTO. Does this sound right to you ? Anyway can I buy these parts and will they fit the CV8? Sorry if you got confused I can explain it better in swedish LOL. :hail: :) It is the HSV GTO look!! What do you think is missing?

The Vauxhall Monaro VXR is the same as the HSV GTO.

hahah, you 2 are like the "odd couple"!
Anyway, front and rear bumpers and sideskirts and spoiler and wheels will make it look like a GTO/VXR for the most part. The interior has a guage pod. You should perhaps visit www.hsv.com.au and take a virtual factory tour where they outline how they transform a Holden to HSV.
Where do u get the parts? I dno, HSV don't sell to Holden customers to protect the brand, they might sell to overseas customers. Your other choice is aftermarket kits that wont fit as well as genuine. Or your Vauxhall dealer where they can order VXR parts. Though they might be as tightass about it as HSV are.

My apologies for being wrong, have now gone back and read your 3 posts and yes I missed the point about you having a Vauxhall Monaro since the rest of the thread was about the VXR in the first post. You will most likely have the same issues with body kits etc as those with a US GTO and since Vauxhall are just reselling HSV, expect them to also have the same attitude to direct sales -- i.e. they dont. Suggest looking up JHP, CAPA etc for parts.

The wheels are the genuine 2005 VZ HSV GTO (Aussie) 19 x 8. They are available from www.jhp.com.au

In the U.K. Vauxhall import the Monaro in 2 options, CV8 (std. Aussie Monaro) & VX-R (HSV GTO). If you are looking for parts try www.jhp.com.au

AWSOME coupe 4! If I had one id put the hood scoops too. And a supercharger to overcome the awd power loss.
Any mods? How does it compare to a rwd Monaro/coupe (if youve driven one)
