Check out my new remote bleeder I made up. I got tired of all the gunk in the master cylinder. This makes it very easy to change the fluid after running at the track.

Nice job! I was going to do the same, I can't believe these people are getting ~$90 for a piece of $13 braided line and a couple of fittings! I was going to make one up for my car and then offer them for sale myself, but if someone else is out there doing it for a reasonable price, I may be interested in just buying one for my car and not bothering!

Its kind of early. Could someone give a little more detail where this is going and how it works?

how is that fitting on the slave side gonna work, looks like you're missing one more section for it to work on the slave.

Yea, any type of more detailed writeup on this would be great. What you bought, where you got it, what goes where...etc.

Do you have to drop your tranny to get to the inside of the bellhousing for this install or can it be done with the tranny still attached to the engine?

you're going to have to drop the tranny to put in a remote bleed line. it screws into where the stock bleeder fitting screws into the slave.

As you can see I replaced the factory metal and rubber line from the master cylinder to the slave as well as installing a bleeder line. I ran both hoses through a heat sleeve and looped it around behind the brake booster and ran them down the back of ths left side head. I got all of the parts and made the lines at my cousin's speed shop. I can see what it will cost to make up a kit and let you guys know. I will post some more pics so you can see how it works on the slave end. I almost forgot, yes you have to remove the trans to install.

If any of you are still interested in me making some kits up let me know by posting so I can try to get a count and get up with my cousin when he gets back in tomorrow. I need to see how the fittings come packaged and how much heat sleeve and line I will need. Let me know if you want a bleeder line only or a bleeder and a master cylinder line like I did. On a different subject I am also working on some adjustable master cylinder rods. The one I am testing on my car helped me not have to take my trans back out to shim the slave.

Ok, I have checked into what it will take for me to be able to put together a kit with both lines, heat sleeve, and all fittings. The price would be $138 plus shipping. I know alot of people thought $90 was alot for a remote bleeder others make, but keep in mind this is both lines.

Ouch that is kinda expensive man. Our sponsor CAM sells remote bleeders for $65 shipped.

Granted that you are selling two lines... But the master cylinder line is not really necessary. Just extra work.

I am not sure how much you are paying for the parts, but you can build a remote bleeder on summitracing.com for about $50 + shipping.

I think if you lowered your price some you would get a lot more activity. No one wants to pay you more than they would a sponsor...

If they can do it for that then I would buy from them. Wait until your factory master cylinder hose blows out and then you can change it too.

Off topic, but what wheels do you have on your goat? They look nice.

Also how long did it take you to change the master cylinder line? I might be doing that soon.

Thanks, the wheels are 3 1/2 front and 10 in rear Weld Pro Stars. As far as the master cylinder line install, it takes about a hour to move the horn, brake master cylinder and booster to get to it.
