Im wondering if its safe to use a new DR on one side but a used DR on the otherside?
one MT has about 13,000 mi on it (needs to be replaced)
the other MT has about 4,500 mi on it (replaced due to a leak)
thanks in advance

My concern would be the LSD in the rear. Depending on the different tread depths of the two tires, one could be significantly smaller in circumference than the other. Thus, the LSD will have to work overtime to constantly correct that perceived slipping.
Also, the traction control system works off of monitoring the relative wheel speeds. When it sees a major difference in speed between the two wheels, it steps in. You could freak out your TC if the tires have a large difference in tread depth.
How worn is the old tire?

u got a lot of miles out of those M/T. my last set only lasted 6,000 miles but as long as u check thread height and they are pretty much even i think u will be alright. or buy two new ones and keep the other for a spare.
