Can I run a 265/40/17 rear tire?

im just seeing if anyone can tell me if i can run a 265/40/17 rear tire on the stock rims and stock suspension without rubbing the fenders? Has anyone run these? Im not looking for recommendations on other tire sizes and i dont want to hear about using search because i already did.

dont see why not....i ran 275 40 on my stockers with no rubbing or cutting.

what brand you buy may play a role here tho.

Please let me know if that size fits. It's so tough finding good 255/45/17 tires, having the 265 makes it so much easier, as there are more companies supporting that size.
