Couldn't resist after I saw the dyno numbers on that maggie car....I just hope my car doesnt go :bomb:
I got everything....remote bottle opener, window switch, bottle warmer, purge kit, yadi yada, etc etc.
I assume stock inectors and fuel pump will handle it with the h/c pkg...right?

I'll be watching to see how it turns out for you, I have a similar setup to yours.

Phil, don't expect the same kind of gains that was seen with the Maggie. I would venture to say that almost half of his gain was attributed to the fact of the nitrous countering the heat generated by the Maggie. The Maggie is really bad concerning heat, look at the difference in power gains between the Maggie and the ATI for the same amount of boost. The main power gain with nitrous is the cooling effect it has on the incoming air. This is much more noticeable with the higher temps of the Maggie.
Not trying to bash your decision, just want you prepared.

Of course that Maggie had only a 75 shot.
Me, I'm thinking 150. :secret:

With heads/cam/nitrous/boltons you should be able to turn out 475RWHP or so - especially with the right cam.. With a 75 shot..

True, I was refering to the fact the 75 shot got him much more than 75 hp with the before and after testing.

Make sure you get photos of the install!!! Are you going stealth for the NO2 install???
better get a Walboro intank if you want to make some power....its cheap and necessary with nitrous on top of a H/C package...modify the bucket and slap the Walboro in....make sure to use NGK TR6 plugs gapped at about .038 as well...

Thanks....
Do I need bigger injectors as well?

No, a wet kit has a fuel solenoid that adds the fuel for your injectors. You just need to make sure fuel pressure doesn’t drop.

No, get bigger injectors. 42 lbs, flow tested, dont skimp. Racetronix has some good ones, <-----Thunder Racing carries them. That along with a fuel pump you should be just fine for a H/C/150 shot car. Very similar to the line Im taking with my car. Make sure you tune it on the dyno with the nitrous, at that power level you are really working the stock shortblock, if your tune is crappy you will grenade it, right quick like. On the othe hand, with a good tune it will be fine.

No, do not get the injectors.
The factory injectors are 100% fine for heads and cam. The fuel side of the wet kit will take care of the nitrous.

Where in Upstate NY are you? I'm about 1/2 way between Rochester and Syracuse and plan on running something very similar to your setup within the next month.. Would be interested in giving you a hand with the install, or meeting up after you've got it installed to check it out.

I am in ballston lake/clifton park area (between albany and saratoga). I plan on having eastside performance in CT install and dyno tune the car just so I know it is safely tuned and installed, but thanks for the offer. Maybe we can just meet up for a gto mini-meet since there are a few others around here!

You shouldn't need injectors with a wet kit, but you would with a dry kit. You will need a fuel pump or voltage booster, either way.

Man, I miss having nitrous. I had it on my last car and it was a blast. maybe I should go the route of heads/cam and get the nitrous for that extra kick. so many options and so little money what should I do...
I like your idea though Phil, let us know how it turns out for sure!
you do not need new fuel injector with a 125 kit on a H/C car...PERIOD. Stock injectors are fine.
Get the fuel pump/hotwire kit (if available for GTO, don't know yet) or best bet is to get the Racetronix Kit when it is available (I am doing the Walbor intank because I want to use the nitrous now, and don't want to wait on the Racetronix kit although I would buy one in a heartbeat if it was available now). May want to get a timing tuner to take out some timing DEPENDING on how much timing the tuner adds due to the H/C...on a stock car, 125-150 shot wet kit from NX does not need any timing retard (using 93 octane) on a LS1, and I understand the GTO has lower timing than other LS1 cars. The timing tuner acts as a window switch for the nitrous/fuel solenoids as well as retarding/advancing timing on/off the bottle...I hooked mine up last week on the GTO and have been using one on my 10 second Camaro for over a year.

the gto is fairly low from the factory for the timing. 18* were as alow of the f-bodies would be mid 20's.
