tire width v.drag radials

the nittos 275/40/17 is supposed to run thinner than most....but I see that on the website it's listed as tread width of 10.91 but the M/T of equal size is 10...anyone confirm that

any M/T street radial owners?

I have M/T 275/40/17 on stock rims and need drag bags. I resisted putting drag bags in for 2 years. For the street I keep 3 pounds in them. I run 20psi at the strip. No wheel hop or squat.

are your fenders rolled or trimmed?

they rub on the outside or inside?

outside. you could try what i did which was to get my stock wheels widened to 9". now i do have drag bags and i rolled my fenders but the widening adds to the inside which pulls the tire in. i think that i could have run them without the bags and rolling but i run the bags for squat and the rolling was for anything i'd do in the future.
