I am going to be doing heads, cam, headers and intake in a couple of weeks and I was just wandering if you guys know how much easier it is to sneak the headers in while the heads are off the car? Silly question really, just curious.
Thank you!!

It looks easier to me, was going to do it that way but decided to put the headers in first while I had them sitting around.

I did both Kooks LTs and H/C at the same time. Seemed easier to me if only because I only had to remove the factory manifolds and then install the Kooks 1 time! Really the install wasn't that bad. The passenger side dropped right in from the top and I had it bolted in place in about 10 minutes. I then removed all the bracket bolts that held any of the powersteering lines that ran to the steering rack. Then I unbolted the rack and kind of pryed it down and out of the way. Then after unbolting the two motor mounts, I jacked up the motor a few inches and the driver side header dropped in from the top. I was able to get the driver side in without having to disconnect any powersteering lines at all.

Probably spent a total of 1 hour installing the Kooks.....very minor compared to the H/C. :)

do you have to do all that to get the drivers side header in?
