Hey All,

After 6 months of ownership (well 6 months till I put the blizzack snows on 2 months ago...) I am in need of two new tires for the stock rims.

So here is the age old question...buy two more stockers:

BFGoodrich g-Force T/A KDWS (Ultra High Performance All-Season)

245/45-17
WR Speed Rated Price: $131.00 (each)
Estimated Availability: In Stock
Total: $262+Shipping

Or upgrade all 4 corners to something a little nicer:

BFGoodrich g-Force Sport (Ultra High Performance Summer)

245/45-17 SL
ZR Speed Rated Price: $109.00 (each)
Estimated Availability: In Stock
Total: $436+Shipping

Mind you of my location. In the summer time I do drive alot at higher speed than most people would say are reasonable. I had no complaints with the stockers...but you'd think that they would be cheaper per tire than a nice upgrade summer only tire...which isn't a biggie as I have a full set of winters now.

Thoughts?

One of the advantages of running snow tires in the winter is the ability to use summer performance tires for the rest of the year. As you have noticed, they generally offer better performance at a lower cost than all-season rubber...
