View Full Version : Moving to 285 35s on rear
I just ordered a set of 285 35 Toyo T-1S's to replace the 275s I currently have mounted on my rear Drift R's. I figure that since I'm rolling or grinding the fenderlip anyway, I might as well go as wide as I can.
If anyone is interested my 275's are for sale. They have less than 1000 mi on them and I have them priced about $100 less than new cost. See ad in For Sale section.
I'll post pics of the 285's once they get here and are mounted up.

Hmm, nice... Do you know the offset for the rear wheels? Dont forget to post after pictures. ;)

The offset is 50mm. The 275's barely rub on the outside and have plenty of room on the inside. The Toyo's tend to run a bit on the narrow side so I think a 285 will be a perfect fit for the 9" rim and the fenderwell.

Ah, so right now with the 50mm offset and the fenders NOT rolled they barely rub on the outside. But once you grind the lip down, you shouldnt have a problem with a 285 on either side. I guess that is what you are saying? Works for me...

Yep that's what I'm saying. We'll see how accurate my guess was when they get here. :)
