Good grief, those two chicanes made out of monster truck tires were awful. Leave it to Lowe's Motor Speedway, a NASCAR track, to completely good up their Speed World Challenge GT race -- as they just don't get it.

Yea, I was like what the hell? This is the dumbest track ever made. I hope they won't do that again.

No kidding. Next year Humpy Wheeler will put big dirt jumps in there like some kind of motocross event.
Can you imagine having the front end of your really nice Viper race car smashed in because somebody else hit a monster truck tire -- and it slid in front of you?

Next year i hear they are making the cars jump a shark tank through a flaming hoop...
Seriously though, the idea is good but the way it was done was half assed. The track actually has a road course kinda like Daytona. Go in at the end of pit road come out in turn 1.

sorry about not keeping up with the forums, but its good to be back! I agree it was a bit dangerous, and there was far too much damage, but I have to admit, it was probably one of the most fun races I have ever participated in. The GTO finally got its time to shine with huge advantages in braking and horsepower and was running 6th and still heading forward before an alternator let go. The series ran in front of a record crowd at an incredible speedway. I would go back in a heartbeat, sorry you don't agree.
