Finally, my wheels and tires combo pack from GM are on thier way. Shouldn't be more than 30 minutes max till they get here. They are going to look good on a quicksilver goat. Come on yellow truck, where are you? I can't wait to put them on! :D
Who knows, I may even loose the 60 MPH shakes in the steering wheel...
Maybe I'm overly optimistic. I'll find out soon enough...

No offense fellas, and I wish you the best, but I wouldnt touch MC2 wheels with a 100' pole. Bad experience on my Goat, not to say you will have one. I hope you dont. I know i am not the only one on this board either. Also, spoke with a guy at a local wheel shop (KC Trends) and he said he had 3 Chrysler 300s with the same wheels (FZ6) have the same issue I had. I had 2 sets of wheels and 2 sets of tires...Best of luck! Enjoy!

detaildude, are your tires rotational errr uni-directional?

Thanks for the heads-up GTOGOAT, I'll know if something isn't right with them. Sux to hear that folks have had that many problems. On the other hand, why would GM select such a problematic company to supply them wheels & tires. Go figure....

Yes, the tires are directional..Mine rims came wrapped in Nitto Extreme 245/40/ZR18's. While I know GTOGOAT had much difficulty with his rims I have had no problems. Maybe it's just the FZ6 style...who knows.

My issue was with the tires....had two bad ones but they were replaced and I had no additional issues before I swapped them for winter. BTW, after I received the new tires I had the dealership road force balance them...here's hoping you have no issues.

Thanks detaildude.
Oh, and my rims have Falken Azenis ST-115's on them, not familiar with those at all. I hope they are good quality.

I have no experience with Falken tires so I'm no help there. When you get them installed toss up a couple of snaps for us!

Just put MC2FZ16s on 2 weeks ago. Haven't driven much because of bad weather, but did have the dealer force balance prior to install, and one was significantly off....they are great, and I've actually seen people's heads turn when I've had it out (once in the past 2 weeks). You will love them! Good luck! :)

wheels make a car...My camaro would never turn heads without the chrome rims on it!

Faulkens are a good tire, you should be happy with them :)

Your absolutely right GTOGOAT, they ride so quiet and smooth, I've never had a tire this quiet & smooth... Ever!

Detaildude: I love em!!! No problems at all,,,wait a sec, one of the center caps needed a little teflon tape to tighten it up :D The only real problem was me trying to put them on in 12 degree wind chill with a bad back to boot. But when I was done it was all worth it!!

As far as pics go I only got one day shot, and one night shot. I will take more tomorrow. These are pretty bad.. heh

I like 'em Tinman...They look great on the silver. Glad you are happy and have no problems. Take a test drive and be sure you have no wheel shake, then enjoy your new purchase...! I can't wait to reinstall mine for the summer.
