View Full Version : help me find some wheels
I'm fairly new to these cars and am just reading on here when I get the chance. My 04 is my daily driver, and I'd like to get some 18s for it here before too long. I'm just wanting some suggestions on some fair priced(no CCWs or anything like that for now) wheels that would look good on the car. I've looked at wheelmax and I know there are more options than what they have...which is why I'm getting your guys' opinions. I'd like to have the same size all the way around so that they can be rotated, and I would rather not have to roll the fenders or anything. Any input is appreciated!

Your asking a question that is just about impossible to answer,
style, money, size, ect....these are very important factors.
If you had a pic of a rim that you liked, i'm sure we can find something similar to what you want.
I understand. I like the AZA Z-1 and the Z-8. Something similar to those(doesn't have to be identical) would be great. If there aren't any other options for less money then that's fine, but thought I would check first. Also, I noticed that the Z-8 had a 35mm offset, would that work on the car or should I get some with an offset closer to 40? Preferrably a set for under $850.

I looked and looked and ended up going to Discount Tire. They were like awesome and the service is great. They can get about anything, wheels and tires and will set you up and do it right. I have TSW laguana's on BFG NT's.

M6 replica wheels at modbargains.com look good. The brand is Miro and the manufacturer is ATL. They are $160 each-18x8.
Check out the Kelly Springfield Fierce UHP. I think that I will end up going with that tire ($112 each in a 235/40/18). Just a thought.

Roh might be your best shot. You won't have to do anything to get them to fit yet. So you can run them without spending alot more $ than you can spend at one time. I did my suspension first, then rims. But my fitment would never work with stock sagging springs.
