aftermarket black 5 spoke wheels that are not BMW crap. I saw some american racing wheels advertised with the 5x120 bolt pattern but the offset was like 38. I know our offset is something like 48 or so. I have no clue what the minimum offset needs to be for these to be plug and play.

There have to be people out there running 17's, spoked and black wheels on the goat. I have yet to find shit though...17x9 would be preferred too.

Fikse FTW! They make the ones below in a race black finish.

I believe that Motegi (part of american racing) has a few black 17 inch rim options too. Do you have a tire place by you that you can trust. They can search for 17's in black too. Thats what my place did and found mine for me (in 18's though).

i just got akuza drift z 17s they are sick! i love them and they look badass on my spice red 06 a4. they are black and polished. i would really recommend them cuz they are a few pounds lighter than stock and u cant beat the way they look. also, they were only 700 bucks with tax... if any1 would like some pics i will try and put some up.

American Racing Rogues in 17's I believe should work....I want to get them, but my friends keep telling me American Racing is to much associated with Mustangs...so IDK, I have a month or 2 before I decide...

Beyern Mesh or Type 5 are available in 17", with the correct bolt pattern and offset. The Type 5's are spoked, clear coat hub with a machined lip. They don't come in black but could be painted

This is helpful as I would like dark grey or black 17's as well.

I do not appreciate the ride w/ the stock 18's I am sure aftermarket wheels would be no different

I like the look of the fikse wheels but you have to go in and measure EVERYTHING to get a price quote. I am lazy I guess and someone should just publish all the stats...lol

I seem to recall Fikse has a listing of fitment for an all-stock car. IIRC they list a "standard" size of 17x8 +44.

Well I have a full pedders track 2 setup and I don't know how that will affect anything. Also I wish they would make a 17x9 so you could fit more meat in the back and not have to worry about the effects of the sidewalls on the street running smaller than advised rim size.

It's not a huge deal to me I guess because I am about to jump into a vette in about 8 months to a year and my desire to mod the goat is dwindling fast. I am going to keep it but now it seems besides gears, harrop cover and the never to be seen kooks cutouts, I am done with the car.

I would rather have 18" wheels... 17" wheels may ride better, but all that side wall makes the car look like ass.

I have 17x8 with +40 offset and they fit just fine. The stock wheel is a +49 offset, +40 moves the wheel further away from the strut which is better in the end with the issue of strut rub.

+38 should fit fine as well.
