View Full Version : the CCW spoke curve...

i noticed the most common CCWs are 505s and 500s for our cars, and i also noticed they ahve a pretty noticable "curve" in the spokes. do they need to have this to clear the brake calipers or something ?
the reason i ask is that i love the CCW classics and C14s, but want to be able to get them wide with the usual lip and ability to fit 275 drag radials out back.
maybe someone here will know, otherwise ill just call or email ccw.

I seem to remember John saying that the Classic was not available for the GTO. You better call him.

Yup I asked him. He said something about not being able to make the classics with enough lip to look right. He did say he would make them in 17s though.

dang... alright well thanks for the info guys. im going to look into the c14s too. so maybe ill give them a ring and see whats up. i saw that they have a gto with c14s on there but its a race car, im assuming it will still work.

I don't really like the C14 either because of the exposed center section... Great for race cars, but not street cars.
