If I cut off the resonators and cat (stock) off will it trip any codes on the computer? Please post threads on this because I wonder if I can get a better flow and hp out of it.Thanks (newbie)

Codes are set off due to emmision problems. The resonators will not be a problem
but the cats will. There has to be an easy fix because I've seen guys up hear without them. Someone will chime in with more info I'm sure.

O2 simulators will keep you from getting codes from the rear (after cat) o2 sensors. They front O2s function as normal. I did this to my Z28 when I installed the FLP headers with no cats.

You could also buy the mid pipes with cats from Random Tech. PFYC sells them.

Thanks for the info guys!!!I live in alabama and we here don't have a smog pollution law. So I'm wanting to delete the cats and resonators. So I can buy a special 02 sensor to keep the code popping up.If I can were do I get it.
